The lineup

Nine ways to wake the dead.

Nine specialty-grade coffees, roasted fresh only after you order. Whole bean or ground. $21.99 per bag.

60-second roast finder

Let the Reaper choose.

Three questions. One roast that actually fits how you drink coffee.

Step 1 of 3

How do you take it?

Order to cup

Your order is what starts the roast.

Most coffee is roasted months before it reaches you, then warehoused, shipped and shelved while the flavor quietly drains out.

Step 01You order

Pick your roast and your grind. Nothing is pulled from a shelf, because there is no shelf.

Step 02Roasted to order

Your order releases the beans, roasted in a small batch. The freshness clock starts here.

Step 03Sealed the same day

Sealed the day it is roasted, with the roast date printed on the bag.

Step 04Shipped to you

Out within 2 business days with tracking, then 3–7 days in transit.

A supermarket bag

  • Roasted weeks or months before you buy it
  • Warehoused, trucked, then shelved
  • Aroma mostly gone by the time you open it
  • Vague origin — “100% coffee”
  • Bitterness masked with cream and sugar

A Bean Reaper bag

  • Roasted only after your order is placed
  • Sealed and shipped within 2 business days
  • Aroma intact — you smell it opening the bag
  • Named origins and published tasting notes
  • Smooth enough to drink black

Quality control

Nothing gets roasted on a hunch.

“Specialty grade” is a measured standard, not a marketing word. Our roasting partner reports that these coffees meet its specialty-grade purchasing requirements — green-coffee quality controls before the lot is bought, and a sample roast and cupping before it goes into production.

80+Sensory score target

The threshold our roasting partner buys to on the 100-point scale, following the traditional Specialty Coffee Association classification.

0Primary defects allowed

Under that same SCA green-grading approach, a single full black, full sour or dried-cherry bean in the sample disqualifies the lot.

≤5Full defects per 350 g

Secondary defects — partial blacks, shells, broken beans, husk — are counted by hand and capped in the same green-grading standard.

Every lotSample-roasted first

Our roasting partner roasts a test batch and cups it before any of it goes into production.

Green grading · cupping protocol · the 100-point scale · why freshness is part of the score

Grading and cupping are carried out by our roasting partner and its green-coffee suppliers. Bean Reaper does not operate its own laboratory.

Our story

Born for those who refuse to stay down.

This is coffee for the early mornings, the long shifts, the late nights, and the everyday grind.

Our Reaper is not here to scare you — he is here to wake you up.

Every bag is roasted fresh and made for people who show up no matter what. Bold flavor, premium coffee, and a little dark humor in every cup.

If I wouldn’t drink it, I won’t sell it. Eli Perez — Founder, Royal Palm Beach, FL

Five reviews in. Five stars so far.

Bean Reaper opened in 2026 — so this is every review the store has.

★★★★★
Coffin Break is the perfect balance between a medium and dark roast. It's bold enough to have a rich, full flavor, but still incredibly smooth with no harsh bitterness. The freshness really stands out, and the aroma is amazing every time I open the bag.
★★★★★
This has become my everyday coffee. It's incredibly smooth with no bitter aftertaste, and the flavor is rich without being too strong. You can tell the beans are fresh from the aroma alone.
★★★★★
I'm a dark roast fan, and this one didn't disappoint. It's bold and full-bodied without tasting burnt or overly bitter. The aroma is amazing as soon as you open the bag, and every cup has been smooth from start to finish.
★★★★★
I wasn't sure what to expect since this is a new brand, but I'm honestly impressed. The Soul Snatcher blend is smooth, rich, and has a great balance of flavor without being bitter. You can definitely tell it's fresh compared to the coffee I usually buy at the grocery store.
★★★★★
I usually expect decaf to taste weak, but this one completely surprised me. It's smooth, full of flavor, and doesn't taste like you're giving anything up by choosing decaf.

Questions

Everything worth asking about fresh coffee.

When is my coffee roasted?

After you order — every single bag. Bean Reaper holds no pre-roasted inventory and buys nothing in bulk; your order is what triggers the roast, so the freshness clock starts the moment your coffee is roasted, not months earlier on a warehouse shelf.

How quickly do orders ship?

Every order is roasted and shipped within 2 business days — guaranteed. Standard delivery then typically takes 3–7 business days in transit, and you'll get a tracking number by email the moment your order ships. Bean Reaper currently ships within the United States.

Should I choose whole bean or ground?

Whole bean stays fresh longer, because coffee loses aroma faster once it's ground — grind right before you brew if you own a grinder. Ground is the convenient choice and is ready for drip machines and pour-over straight from the bag. Every Bean Reaper coffee is available either way; pick your grind when you add it to your cart.

What roast levels does Bean Reaper offer?

Nine coffees total across light, light-medium, medium and dark roasts, including one decaf. Light roasts like Last Call are bright and lively with citrus and fruit; medium roasts like Grave Shift, Soul Snatcher and Midnight Reaper are smooth and balanced with toffee and chocolate; dark roasts like Dead Man's Brew, Coffin Break and Afterlife are bold and full-bodied with dark chocolate and toasted notes and lower acidity.

How do the coffee pods work?

Each box holds 12 single-serve pods (11 g each) that fit Keurig-style brewers. Dead Awake (light), Tombstone (medium) and Six Feet Under (dark) are the same High Lakes, Broken Top and Flathead Valley coffees as the bags — roasted after you order, then ground and sealed straight away, with no warehouse or shelf time. Each box is $15.99.

How do bundles and discounts work?

Bundle discounts apply automatically in your cart with no code: 2 bags save 8%, 3 bags save 12% and 5 bags save 20%, mixing any roasts and grinds. The Reaper's Sampler (3 × 12 oz for $54.99, free shipping included) is priced as a set and sits outside the bag discounts. One discount per order — the REAPER10 welcome code can't be combined with bundle savings.

Is shipping free?

Free standard U.S. shipping applies automatically to any order with 2 or more coffee bags — no minimum spend and no code. A single bag pays a flat $4.50 domestic rate. Every subscription order ships free regardless of size.

How should I store my coffee?

Keep the bag sealed between uses in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and enjoy it within 30 days of the roast date printed on the bag for peak flavor. Freezing isn't recommended — because every bag is roasted to order, smaller, more frequent orders keep you fresher.

Which Bean Reaper coffee is right for me?

New to specialty coffee? Start with a smooth medium roast like Grave Shift or Soul Snatcher. Working long shifts? Grave Shift is built for it — balanced enough to drink cup after cup. Want depth without bitterness? Afterlife or Coffin Break. Prefer bright and fruity? Last Call or Wake The Dead. Skipping caffeine? Final Breath is a full-flavored Sumatra decaf. Can't decide? The Reaper's Sampler covers bright, balanced and bold in one order.

What if I'm not happy with my order?

Every order is backed by a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. Email hello@thebeanreaper.com within 30 days of delivery and Bean Reaper will make it right with a replacement or refund — and because coffee is a food product, opened bags don't need to be shipped back.
